Stop the permanent sitting at the job. A study shows: Exercise in the office keeps you lean and improves blood levels.
We have long suspected it: permanent sitting at the desk harms the figure and health. Now scientists from the University of Queensland Australia have provided proof of this conjecture. Their study of more than 4,700 desk users showed that the longer someone sits uninterrupted at the desk or in front of the screen, the more risk factors for the cardiovascular disease he exhibits. That was true even for recreational athletes.
EVEN SHORT MOVEMENT UNITS IN THE OFFICE ARE DOING WELL
In contrast, the study participants were slimmer, healthier, and had better blood counts the more they rose from the desk to move. So put an end to phone calls and emails inside the office building! Get up and walk the few steps to your colleague. Your health and your waist will thank you.
