How much water should we drink?

Every day up to 2.5 litres of water is excreted through the kidneys, lungs and intestines. We should, therefore, supply this amount daily. We already get about a litre of fluid through the diet, which means we should also drink between 1.5 to 2 litres per day. The exact amount of drinking depends on the individual circumstances. In case of illness, sweaty activities and stays in warm areas should be drunk accordingly more.

Water is not simply water

For a beautiful skin through water, it is not just about the right amount. The quality of our drinking water is crucial. Because only when the water is as pure as possible, it can develop its cleansing power and thus the benefits for the skin in full. Recommended are drinking water in which only a few other substances are solved. A look at the label reveals how many substances are dissolved in one litre of water. As a rule of thumb, the lower the so-called dry residue, the better the effect of the water on the skin.
