ACNE VULGARIS: Types, Causes, Symptoms and Treatment

ACNE TREATMENTS: Acne treatment depends on the degree of severity :

  • Retinoids (eg isotretinoin)
  • Benzoyl peroxide (BPO)

Antibiotics as Moderate Acne Treatment: In the case of moderately severe forms of typical acne, it is additionally possible to take certain antibiotics such as doxycycline or erythromycin which are to be prescribed by the doctor.
